Delivery and return

What is your return policy?

We’re convinced that you will love your Dutailier cushions, but if the items aren’t right for you, don’t worry!  You can easily return your cushions within the 30-day period following the date of purchase, hassle-free.

Are my cushions covered under warranty?

All Dutailier cushions are covered by a one-year warranty

How do I return my cushions?

Returning your Dutailier cushions is easy—and free! Call us at 1-877-418-4489 or send an email to dstore@dutailier.com. A member of our team will be happy to explain how to proceed with the return. Important: Keep your cushions’ original box to facilitate the return.

How do I cancel an order?

Did you have a change of heart? We understand completely. Contact us within 24 hours of placing your order and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

What is the wait time for reimbursement?

Your full purchase amount will be reimbursed on the credit card used for the transaction within 30 days.

I just placed an online order. When will my items be delivered?

All our cushions are made to order! They are dispatched from our plant four to six weeks after the order is placed. Depending on where you live, you should allow five to seven weeks for shipping.

How will my cushions be shipped?

To facilitate shipping, the cushions of your glider and ottoman are packaged in the same box. As soon as your cushions leave our plant, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a UPS tracking number so you can follow their progress. Your cushions will be delivered directly to your home. All you need to do is unpack and give your Dutailier glider a fresh new look!

I wasn’t home when my glider was delivered. What should I do?

The UPS deliverer will leave you a UPS InfoNotice explaining what you need to do to recover your package.

Where do you offer free shipping to?

We ship our cushions free of charge everywhere in Canada and the USA, with the following exceptions: Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico.

What are the shipping box dimensions?

Whether you ordered a set of replacement cushions just for a glider or for a glider and matching ottoman, the box dimensions will be: 26” W x 10.5” L x 30.75” H. If you only ordered a cushion for an ottoman, the box dimensions will be: 20.5” W x 5” L x 20.75” H.

Where are Dutailier gliders manufactured?

For the past 40 years, all Dutailier gliders have been proudly handcrafted in our Canadian plants, which are located in Quebec. In fact, we are the only manufacturer that continues to produce wood gliders in Canada.  

Why are Dutailier gliders handcrafted?

Simply because Dutailier cares about quality! Every component of our gliders, from their hand-sanded wood structures and generously padded cushions to their carefully sewn slipcovers, are handcrafted by our team of experienced artisans.   

Maintenance and replacement

There’s a stain on my glider’s seat cushion. How do I clean it?

Use a mild soap-and-water solution to clean light stains. For more stubborn stains, professional furniture cleaning is recommended. Never clean your fabrics in the washing machine.

Will my glider cushions flatten or sag over time?

We only use high-quality materials in our glider cushions. The proof? Our backrest cushions are manufactured with a generous layer of polyester fibres, and some models have an additional layer of foam. The density of our seat cushions has been precisely calculated so that it doesn’t sag prematurely. Our seats remain firm and comfortable for many years.
